TD Canada Trust Tower is an office tower in Calgary, Alberta. Located at 421 7th Avenue SW, it stands at 162 m (531 ft) or 40 storeys tall. It was designed by WZMH Architects in postmodern style and was built by PCL Construction in 1991. It has a total area of 65,000 m² (699,654.2 sq ft) and is serviced by 15 elevators.[2] The building is managed by Oxford Properties Group.[1]
In addition to TD Canada Trust, the building is home to:
- Alberta Energy Corporation
- EnCana Corporation
- Holt Renfrew
The site was once the Eaton's Calgary flagship store (1929 to 1980s). Some of the store's walls have been retained and incorporated into the facade of the Holt Renfrew store.
