Tazumuddin is located at 22.4167° N 90.8486° E . It has 20444 units of house hold and total area 512.92 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Tazumuddin has a population of 116822. Males constitute are 51.94% of the population, and females 48.06%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 51881. Tazumuddin has an average literacy rate of 27% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
