Taz Alexander is a singer who has toured with Juno Reactor, Alpha-X, and Sin e, among others. She currently resides in London, England.
With Juno Reactor, she has provided her voice for the soundtracks for 'The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, The Animatrix, and Once upon a time in Mexico, as well as singing on their two most recent albums, Shango and Labyrinth.
In her recording with Alpha-X, she has worked with the band's leader, Declan Flynn, whose music has appeared on the Buddha Bar albums and, most recently on the new album 'A Plea for Sanity'. Her work with the world fusion band Sin e, of which she is a founding member and has toured with extensively, has helped the band succeed with its three albums, all of which have received critical acclaim.
When not recording or touring, she also collaborates and performs with the Jazz Cigarettes, a casual collection of professional musicians who play at weddings and other such functions. Their sets include unusually arranged covers, and their aim as a band is to "put the fun back into function", says Taz.
She has performed with such well-known musicians as Christy Moore, Taj Mahal, John Otway and Van Morrison.
