Taxi were a Portuguese band of rock/ska/new wave. Formed in 1979, their major hits include "Cairo" and "Chiclete"(1981). They have published 4 LPs on PolyGram, and various other records and compilations.
They've been mostly inactive since 1998, but meet occasionally to give concerts.
