Tau Virginis (τ Vir / τ Virginis) is a star system in the constellation Virgo. It is approximately 218 light years from Earth.

The primary component, Tau Virginis A, is a white A-type main sequence dwarf with an apparent magnitude of +4.23. It has a 9th magnitude companion, Tau Virginis B, 80 arcseconds from the primary.
