[edit] Youngest Person to Recieve Oscar?

No mention of Shirley Temple;

Tatum O'Neal is the youngest to ever win a competitive Oscar, winning Best Supporting Actress for Paper Moon when she was 11. Shirley Temple, however, received an honorary Oscar when she was just 6 years old.

[edit] Alleged relationship with Michael Jackson?

I found this profile of Tatum O'Neal in the so-called Notable Names Database which alleges that she had a relationship with Michael Jackson in the 70's. Is this true? Is there any reliable media coverage confirming this? --Lemi4 10:34, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Michael wrote in his autobiography "Moonwalk", that they used to date. IMDB states, that this happened in the 70s, and that's the time frame suggested in "Moonwalk" too. According to IMDB, Tatum even claimed the 1979 song "She's out of my life" was about her, which however can't be true, since the song wasn't written by Michael. The funny thing is that Michael is five years older than Tatum. At no point in the 70s she was she older than sixteen, and thus a minor. This can only mean, at best, that Michael dated a fifteen-year-old girl, when he was twenty years old. Or that he was like 18 and she was like 13, when they dated? Hmmm... Was this considered apppropriate thirty years ago? I know it wouldn't be considered appropriate now for a girl under the age of sixteen to have a five years older boyfriend. I wouldn't mind it too much, but what was the general opinion of this at the time?
