Townists usually wear hoodies and sweatpants. The usual footwear is sneakers. Townies usually don't wear brand name clothing and object to spending over $60 on clothes or shoes, unless necessary.

Townists play or compete in rugby union, American football, Canadian football, ice hockey, baseball, basketball, badminton and ping pong.
[edit] The 39 Statues
The 39 Statues are like the Ten Commandments, only there are 39. Townists are expected to follow them at all times. They are:
1- Thou shall have a nice cup of tea and sit down when pissed.
2- Thou shall have at least a little humour.
3- Thou shall learn to screw off when asked to.
4- Thou shall be good at: at least 1 subject at school.
5- Thou shall not suck.
6- Thou shall be at least a little good at computers.
7- Thou shall ignore all rules.
8- Thou shall not stuff beans up their nose.
9- Thou shall not climb the Reichstag dressed as Spider-Man.
10- Thou shall not be a fanatic.
11- Thou shall not be an angry mastodon.
12- Thou shall disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point.
13- Thou shall know how many legs a horse has.
14- Thou shall realize they are probably not lexicologists or a lexicographer.
15- Thou shall drop the stick and back slowly away from the horse carcass.
16- Thou shall use common sense.
17- Thou shall realize there is no common sense.
18- Thou shall ignore common sense.
19- Thou shall realize that process is important.
20- Thou shall know what Wikipedia is not.
21- Thou shall not be a dick.
22- Thou shall know all the 1000 things not to write your article about.
23- Thou shall hold grudges.
24- Thou shall know what's a troll.
25- Thou shall assume that everyone's assuming good faith, assuming that you are assuming good faith.
26- Thou shall not be an ostrich.
27- Thou shall not be destructive when unecessary.
28- Thou shall NOT bite the developers.
29- Thou shall name their band from this.
30- Thou shall assume good wraith.
31- Thou shall assume good faith.
32- Thou shall assume the assumption of good faith.
33- Thou shall not give the developers ideas.
34- Thou shall go for checkups at the Clinic for Wikipediaholics every 6 months.
35- Thou shall assume bad faith.
36- Thou shall assume stupidity.
37- Thou shall not be a fucking douchebag.
38- Thou shall not practice sock puppetry, witchcraft or calculus.
39- Thou shall also follow the Five Pillars of Evil.
Many townists believe that the 7th one is the most important.

Townists speak mainly English, but also Esperanto, Ido, Pig Latin and Klingon. Other languages are spoken as well by townies, but not as much. Townists use slang a lot as well. Townies have also created their own words such as "bizzounced" and "akhmed". They've also created their own terms like "Pointless Move Junction".

Townies are of all religions. You are not allowed to become a townist or call yourself one if you are a religious extremist.
