Tasmanian Rail News is the official journal of the Australian Railway Historical Society - Tasmanian Division. It is published monthly.
Since Tasmania is a small state geographically and population-wise, the Tasmanian Divisision was originally a subdivision of the much larger Victorian Division, until about 1970 when increasing interest and falling printing costs made a separate division possible.
