Tarnowskie Góry [tarˈnɔfskjɛ ˈgurɨ] (German: Tarnowitz) is a town in southern Poland with 61,642 inhabitants (2005). Situated in the Silesian Voivodeship (since 1999), it was previously in Katowice Voivodeship (1975-1998). It is the seat of Tarnowskie Góry County.
