Tara Dean

Tara Dean (born 21 September 1977, Bolton) is a British film producer and solicitor.

Dean attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School, London and began her career as an actor. She has appeared on television in episodes of The Bill, The Darling Buds of May and Married for Life, a remake of the sitcom Married with Children. Tara read Media Arts at Royal Holloway University of London and obtained a Speech and Drama Diploma from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She also attended the College of Law.

She has written about arts and media for Prompt, Arts Professional, The Stage, Scriptwriter and The Times.

She has produced a number of award winning films including A Higher Agency starring Jack Davenport, Antony Sher, Allan Corduner and Clemency Burton-Hill.
