The article mention that Shank had taken Seina's family hostage. Actually, it was the families of Ryoko Balta's crew. BiggKwell 20:17, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

Not in this case; falling back on taking hostages is so old hat for Tarant it's easy to get confused. He had wanted to take Seina's family hostage on Earth after episode ten, which is why the dude's so torn up in the next ep - his plot was met with severe resistance.

From episode 11, "First Paychecks and Presents"...

Guild Member: "What are you doing about the Seina situation, Tarant-dono?"

Tarant: "I had no idea there was someone like that on Earth..."

Guild Member: "Meaning you failed with your special hostage taking plan."

Tarant: "Hmph."

So while Balta was under his thumb, Tarant couldn't work the same pressure on Seina. He couldn't complete the kidnapping after interference from Tenchi and the gang. Papacha 17:10, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
