Need reference for the female Taraka. The male Taraka is generally known, although the details change slightly, such as being a Daitya. However, the mother of Maricha is Tataka, according to Vettam Mani, Puranic encyclopaedia. Imc 10:34, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
