Tapen Chatarjee was a Bengali actor who played several roles in Satyajit Ray's films.
One of his best films is Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne (1968). Some of his other hit movies are: Dhanyee Meye (1971), Sangini (1974), Heerak Rajar Deshe (1980), Goopy Bagha Phire Elo (1991). He also produced a bengali movie in 1980 named Aanchal.
