T A Pai Management Institute popularly known as TAPMI, is a management institute in Karnataka, India. It was founded by T. M. A. Pai in 1980.

According to the institute, it is a private, fully autonomous institute. It says that it is autonomous in all academic matters - faculty recruitment, programmes, admissions, curriculum design, course offerings, evaluation and assessment and award of diplomas. TAPMI is not affiliated to any university.

TAPMI has recognition of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the AICTE's National Board of Accreditation (NBA) with a rating of A[citation needed]. It has also secured accreditation of "5-stars" from the University Grant Commission's (UGC) autonomous National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)[citation needed]. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has recognised its post-graduate programme as equivalent to an MBA[citation needed]. TAPMI has initiated the process of getting accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Management-In-Practice (MIP) is a programme in TAPMI to enhance faculty-student-industry interaction. The MIP programme lets students spend time in industry.

TAPMI is involved with business organisations to provide continuous learning and education to their executives. These programmes are conducted at TAPMI, Manipal or TAPMI CEE Bangalore or at the client's location.

TAPMI is located in Manipal near the town of Udupi. Udupi is nearest railway station (2 km) on Mumbai - Mangalore Konkan railway route. The nearest airport is Mangalore International Airport at Bajpe which is about 60 km from TAPMI.
