Flavor graveyard
You may be right. I think the addition of "RIP" is a bit much though. Wikipedia is not a mirror of other sites though, and in the long-run such a list should only be on Wikipedia if the content can be improved upon. In that sense, I don't think that we should strive to organize the list in exactly the same way that B&J's does; nor do I necessarily agree that the use of that term on their website is "official" in any real sense of the word. OK. One point that I want to emphasize though is that the flavor graveyard as far as I can tell is just a gimic on their webiste. They could redesign tommorrow and the article would make no sense. If this term has any real world significance that can be sourced, that's worth mentioning in the article. Savidan 16:12, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for the welcome. My only qualm is that I think (like the Biographies project) the project sounds like it's too huge. We have enough trouble keeping Chinese cuisine in line as it is. Badagnani 05:47, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the welcome :)
The headline says it all; my contributions might be slow during the summer, but once I get back to school (and its library, more importantly) in the fall, I will try to add some well-sourced articles on Mediterrenean cuisine. Until then, I'll keep my eye on that list of tasks. Pvodenski 06:13, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Re:WikiProject Food and drink
Thanks for the welcome, and I plan to do some work. In response to your question, I actually find Italian cuisine and French cuisine the most interesting. I know some French, and I hope to get over to Europe, some day. Thanks for the welcome, again, and I hope to see you around editing! Cool Bluetalk to me 23:54, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'll do some research on that. Green bean doesn't look like a very big article, though, so placing the section in there w/o it looking out of place is important. Cool Bluetalk to me 00:18, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Food
Greetings. We seem to be editing Food at the same time, barely avoiding colliding. :) I removed the HACCP flowchart you added, since it had no source information and is probably a copyright violation. (If so, it will be deleted.) Thanks for all you work on the food article! – Quadell (talk) (random) 21:28, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- Heck, if all the "GA" suggestions are made -- and info on taboos, history, and culture are expanded -- I plan to nominate it to be Featured. When I came upon the article, it had no sources. I added sources to enter in a competition for who can most improve an unsourced article. (I reorganized and cleaned up the article as well.) I didn't win the competition, but I did get the article up to B-class. – Quadell (talk) (random) 21:39, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
I thought you might be interested: the culinary art article is in horrible shape. Since you're a culinary artist, I thought you might be interested. (Should it be a separate article from cooking?) – Quadell (talk) (random) 14:13, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
vandalism
It appears someone vandalized your user page. Would you like me to revert them? :) – Quadell (talk) (random) 16:06, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
