Tam Yiu Chung

Tam Yiu Chung, GBS, JP, (Traditional Chinese: 譚耀宗, born 15 December 1949 in Hong Kong with family roots in Huiyang, Guangdong) is a current councillor from 1998 in the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. He was a member of the Executive Council from 1997 to 2002. He is a member of the Democratic Alliance for Betterment of Hong Kong (DAB). He was the acting chairman of DAB from August 9 to August 29, 2007, after the passing of Ma Lik. On August 29, he was voted as the chairman of DAB.
