[edit] A peasant named Ada

In the wikisource-document, there is no mention of anyone named Ada. Is this another case were something has been left out between the two versions? (i.e. is Ada mentioned in the 1827 version?) Dr bab 08:19, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Yup, you got it. I checked and compared the many versions of the poem, and made it clear in the text. Poe kept revising the poem for 20 years, so there were quite a few changes over time. Actually, he only dropped the name "Ada" much later, after about 15 years, so it kept its mention through several versions. Hope it's clear now. --Midnightdreary 13:58, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
