Talk:Tamaz V. Gamkrelidze
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Should Tamaz really be used instead of Thomas as the primary form of his name? He always uses Thomas himself when writing in English. --Twid 17:04, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Tamaz is a real name and primary form. -- Levzur 11 Apr 2005
- I don't dispute that. My point is that he publishes in English using the name Thomas V. Gamkrelidze, so it would be logical to use that name as the primary form here. BTW, if you insist on Tamaz, why then not change his surname to Gamqrelidze? --Twid 20:20, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

- Interesting. However, somebody else might have written the webpage, while he has probably decided the name to use in articles and books. --Twid 18:56, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

- I've now found a copy of his English-language business card (as it looked in the mid-90s) and uploaded a photo of it. --Twid 21:36, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
