Talking God is a novel by Tony Hillerman.

A considerable portion of the book actually takes place in Washington, D.C. rather than in the American Southwest, where many of Tony Hillerman's books take place. The cover of at least some copies of the book includes a picture of a scene from Washington, D.C..

The book also has many references to Chile.
