[edit] What was that rule again?

Could someone with the original rulebook quote the exact text of the little rule that says something like "The Bartender can change the rules at will to make the game funnier." ... if memory serves it was like the last/ultimate rule for the Bartender. This is for citation relevant to a discussion posting I made in WP:WIARM. Thanks. Low Sea (talk) 08:41, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The only thing like this I could find

In Chapter 8: Keeping the baloney rolling, the first paragraph reads as follows: "This is a comedy game, so it´s important to keep things funny. Come on,you can do it. Just think about the things that make you laugh, and inject them into adventures."

A little bit further down the page, under "Dramatically Appropriate Times", it says: "These are devices that allow the Bartender to pull the Patron´s fat out of the fire, or to deep fry them if he chooses. This is the rule covering timely rescues, clever resolutions, and general fun stuff. In other words: if it feels right, do it!"

Those were the only parts I could find which sounded similar to what you requested. My version of Tales seems to be a first edition copy though, it definitely has a few misprints in tables inside.
