Tale Of Ekati

Tale Of Ekati is a thoroughbred racehorse born in Kentucky. He is owned by Canadian geologist Charles Fipke. He won the 2007 Belmont Futurity Stakes and the 2008 Wood Memorial. He finished 4th in the 2008 Kentucky Derby and sixth in the Belmont Stakes.
He is named for the Ekati Diamond Mine, of which Fipke was one of the discoverers.
