This page in a nutshell: Vandals are Bad people and will eventually find a way to takeover wikipedia for at least a day.

One day, the vandals will takeover for at least a day. Don't know how, don't know why. But it will happen. Whether in 2 days or 200 years, It WILL HAPPEN. Be Ready. Equip yourself with vast weaponry such as Lupin's Anti-Vandal Tool. Don't Let the Vandals win. If they win. All hope is lost. But your responsibility as a wikipedian is to BE PREPARED. Right now, the vandals are probably planning WP:HowToTakeoverWikipediaWithoutAnyoneReallyNoticingUntilIt'sTooLateToDoAnythingAtAllAboutIt. We MUST stop them at all costs!
