[edit] FSN New York / MSG Network

If you believe that FSN New York deserves a standalone article (I personally do not), please discuss on the talk page and the let community decide. Milchama 19:01, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] FSNY Facts

  1. The official name of the channel is Fox Sports Net New York, and I renamed the article to reflect it.
  2. The station is owned and operated by Cablevision, not Fox Broadcasting Company. FBC runs the national FSN programming, but not the local NY channel or its game telecasts.
  3. Since the teams covered by FSNY are already mentioned in the introduction, there doesn't need to be a separate Teams section.
  4. I have done a lot of cleaning up to the article, but you have reverted a lot of it. For example, we don't need all those XXX zip codes that were in the intro.

I do appreciate the work you've done on it, and we (along with the rest of the Wiki community) should work together to make the best article possible. I think we need to add more of the history as Sportschannel New York, and Cablevision's long deals with the Islanders and Devils. Milchama 13:02, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] FSN New York edits

Could you please stop changing the FSN New York article in ways that make it worse by using redirects and bad grammar? If you don't know how to edit Wikipedia correctly or don't have a good grasp of how to use English language, lay back and let the article stand unless there is a glaring mistake. Some of the edits you made are useful, such as when there is a necessary word missing, but often things you chage have to be changed back, and it is getting annoying. Please reconsider how you edit the article. bmitchelfTF 20:20, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] FSNY Proposed Merger

MSG Plus will become the new FSNY on Monday, March 10. There will not be a merger between MSG and MSG Plus because they are two different networks. Plus, the channel will continue to carry programming from Fox Sports, including college football and hoops and the likes of "Best Damn Sports Show Period." The only difference to be seen will be in the fact that a ticker will be put on it and that the Devils and Islanders will be focused more on as well as high school sports.

[edit] Re: Stop putting full names!!!

  • First, Wikipedia does not accept personal attacks to users. If you do make an attack at me again, you will be warn and face a possible block by admin.
  • putting a full name will result in too much usage of memory and that is against the rule
you realize how much the size of the page is increased by. The answers is the photos in the articles that contribute to the size, it's not the long names that creates the size of the article. Prove to me that it is in the rule.
