My hobby is house and occupant research of canal houses in Amsterdam. Of some canal houses much is known, but in general I collect relevant information in tax books, stored in the Amsterdam city archive, in the literature or on internet. Research provided details on a Amsterdam mayor Albert Burgh, my first lemma here. Further I listen to baroque operas. That interest has led to several lemma's in the Dutch Wikipedia, here I added to Ferdinando (III) de' Medici and Charles Jennens and Georg Frideric Handel.
Since I am a guide in Museum Geelvinck-Hinlopen, I am well informed with the painters Gillis d'Hondecoeter, Gabriel Metsu and Michael Coxcie. I have added on Dutch masters like: Melchior de Hondecoeter, Jan Baptist Weenix, Jan Weenix and Hans Vredeman de Vries.
