Just made a first hack at writing an article on Takeuchi Ryū. I'm still learning the history and sources are not exactly congruent so it's a bit vague at the moment. Hopefully things will improve. The lineage needs lots of work, particularly adding kanji for the names and any birth/death dates available. Also sorely needed is a rough syllabus and description of the various arts without going into unnecessary detail. I think this information is all public knowledge, so it's not "giving away secrets". Incurring the wrath of Atago Kami would be bad. — Jéioosh 10:15, 27 September 2005 (UTC)

Hi! Hontai Yoshin Ryu and Takagi Ryu are more or less the same school. It's a little redundant putting them both here. As there are several branches with slightly different names, the name "Takagi Ryu" pretty much sums it up. It's also important to note that the Sosuishiryu was actually called Futagami ryu at one time, until it was blended with Takenouchi ryu. So, I cleaned it up a little bit. 221.30.246.207 18:01, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Move page

If "Hinoshita Toride Kaizan Takenouchi-ryū" is properly the art's full name, it should be moved there. At the very least, the page needs to be moved to "Takenouchi-ryū" for for correct romanization. Thoughts? Bradford44 15:50, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
