Panagiotis "Takis" Gonias is a Greek former football player. He has played in many top level Greek teams including Olympiacos, Iraklis and Panionios. After his good appearances with Iraklis he was transferred in 1998 to Sporting de Gijón in Secunda Division, Spain. In 2004 he transferred to FC Messina, where he played the last season of his career.
He was an attacking midfielder of the old school, a classic number 10 shirt. His main attributes were long shots and excellent passing.
After the end of his career his deep knowledge about tactics allowed him to work as a successful game analyst in a popular football TV broadcast.
