Coordinates: Takhatgarh is a town in Pali District of Rajasthan state in India located near the Jolore district border. It lies on Jalore-Sanderao road. There is an old Jain temple of Shri Adinath Bhagwan in the town.

As of 2001 India census[2], Takhatgarh had a population of 15,809. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Takhatgarh has an average literacy rate of 51%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 65%, and female literacy is 36%. In Takhatgarh, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
