Takeo Kanade (Japanese: 金出武雄) is one of the world's foremost researchers in Computer Vision. He is currently U.A. and Helen Whitaker Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. In 1999 he was inducted as a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery.
