Taishidō Station (太子堂駅 Taishidō-eki?) is a railway station on the Tōhoku Main Line of East Japan Railway Company located in Taihaku-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. [1]

The station is on a section of Tōhoku Main Line where trains of the following lines share the tracks:

The station has one elevated island platform which can serve a nine-car train on each side of the platform.[2]

The redevelopment of the area surrounding the station, a site of former railway yard, is being carried out by the Urban Renaissance Agency under the project name "Asuto Nagamachi" (あすと長町?). [3] As one of infrastructures of the new town, the station opened on March 18, 2007.[1]
