[edit] License tagging for Image:Octave Designations 2.svg

Thanks for uploading Image:Octave Designations 2.svg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:07, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Formatting in stringed instrument tunings article

I notice you seem to be the person who went through the entire chart and started to replace the tunings with your own formatting. Please don't do this; the current formatting was arrived at through a discussion on the "talk" page, and whay you're doing is contrary to what was decided on. If you want to change this, the thing to do is to discuss it first. Thanks, +ILike2BeAnonymous 20:02, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Just wanted to let you know that I moved the comments you made on my user page to my "talk" page; I almost missed them. (In case you didn't know, you get an "alert" when someone leaves comments on your discussion page.) +ILike2BeAnonymous 00:48, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
A very small request: do you think you could be persuaded to sign your comments on "talk" pages the usual way (the 4 tildes thing, or use the signature button)? Not a big deal, but it's kind of nice since it gives people a link to you in the discussion in case they want to contact you. +ILike2BeAnonymous 18:02, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, Tagrich1961, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!  (a shame nobody welcomed you yet, since April '06, & what he said about the tildes... :-) ) __Just plain Bill 23:22, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
