What is the second paragraph supposed to mean? It sounds like a sentence is missing or something. "Traded with the naturalists through the worst of their peril"? Whose peril? "Perhaps Dumont d'Urville's pretended interest extended as far as the giant skink"? What pretended interest? J. Spencer 00:56, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
