[edit] Tabular Islamic vs Gregorian

How does the tabular Islamic calendar correlate to the Gregorian calendar? Is there more than one correlation in use? Meaning: does everybody agree on what day of the week 1 Muharram 1426 (or any specific day of any specific month of any specific year) falls on using this calendar?

See the second external link [1], which lists eight tabular Islamic calendars. So there is no agreement, although the first tabular calendar described in the article (IIc in the external link) is probably the most well known and the one usually meant. — Joe Kress 04:12, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
