TÜV Healthcare Specialists

TÜV Healthcare Specialists is a US organization. It is now known as DNV. It is an option to the Joint Commission.
In 2007, the organization was acquired by DNV. [1] DNV Healthcare Inc.'s headquarters are in Houston, Texas, with offices in Cincinnati, Ohio, and assessment staff based throughout the USA.
It is responsible for the National Integrated Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations (NIAHOSM) program [2], an alternative to currently-available hospital accreditation programs and which represents a "Quality Management System" (QMS) constructed in accordance with ISO 9001. [3]
In 2006, St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, USA, acquired both NIAHOSM and Joint Commission accreditation [4].
