Szczawno-Zdrój [ˈʂt͡ʂavnɔ ˈzdruj] (German: Bad Salzbrunn, to 1935 Ober Salzbrunn) is a spa town in Wałbrzych County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. (For more information about the history of the region, see Silesia.)
The town lies north of the Sudetes mountains, approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Wałbrzych and 66 kilometres (41 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
As at 2006, the town has a population of 5,506.
