Hello

I'm a PhD student at Bristol University, with a current area of research based around networked forms of new media (especially constructive hypertexts), ecosophy and critical theory

Part of my research includes virtual-ethnographic research into the feedback mechanisms and emergent properties and laws of several new media technologies which i am using as case studies. Wikipedia is one such case study - so my purpose here is both as a participant and as a researcher. My research into wikipedia is centred around understanding ways in which Wikipedia leads to the production of collective forms of knowledge and the ways in which the writers and editors of Wikipedia resolve conflicts which arise.
