Where did the title "Symmachus the Ebionite" come from? IIRC, he has always been referred to as just "Symmachus", & there is some evidence to show that he was Jewish, not in any way Christian (which "the Ebionite" would imply). -- llywrch 03:23, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
