Dr. Sylvie Louise Grégoire, PharmD is a Massachusetts biotechnology and pharmaceutical company executive. She is currently the President of the Human Gentics division at Shire plc. Gregoire has a doctorate in Pharmacy and Pharmacology. Sylvie Gregoire is also a dual US and Canadian citizen, lives in Boston, Massachusetts and is active in philanthropy in the Boston area.
Prior to being the President of one of Shire plc's two divisions she was the chairwoman of the board of drug company IDM Pharma; she was also a board member of Cubist Pharmaceuticals (CBST) and Caprion Proteomics. In addition, Gregoire was also President and Chief Executive Officer of Glycofi Inc. (now a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck & Co.) and the Executive Vice President of Biogen Idec.
