[edit] Deletion?

Is there a reason you refactored my comments out of your talk page? I didn't see them as all that combative, and was infact trying to assist you. Of course, you are allowed to remove tendentious material from your User page, or request that certain people do not post messages to you, but those stepsand removing comments marks you as someone who doesn't want to resolve differences. If events ever escalate, the person removing comments from their talk page look like people with either something to hide, or incivility on the mind. It doesn't help you.
I suggest, in the alternative, that you start an archove. That way, the material is reatined, but its out of your sight.

And I do spend a lot of time improving articles... one of the best ways is to remove spam and other abuses of the project by people trying to bend it to their own purposes instead of making it a source of encyclopedic information.
Removing links that are bad and informing you of how to follow Wikipedia policies doesn't make me a "jerk", it makes me someone doing exactly what Wikipedia editors are supposed to do. I'm sorry you are offended that what you want isn't allowed, but that's no reason for you to lash out at other people. DreamGuy 14:31, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Previously removed material:

Refactoring TalkPage comments is not allowed. Period. If you are unhappy with what someone has to say, keep your cool and talk about it. The medium of text only is hard to communicate effectively sometimes. Try to assume good faith, and that doesn't work, get some help from an admin or seek dispute resolution. Don't edit war, which is precisely what you are doing when you remove the comments of someone who is clearly not vandalizing the article. As well, stop being all uncivil. I know that people can piss you off - I feel exactly like that sometimes, but being rude is very much like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die from it. Just take it easy. Reason will prevail. Maybe not now, but eventually. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 03:50, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

I deleted it because the whole situation is over with. If you want it left here, fine I'll leave it. I don't really care one way or the other. However it looks like you deleted DreamGuy's previous post from here.. does that make you a hypocrite, or was that in error? SykoByte 17:54, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Oops! Actually, it was an utter mistake on my part. It was absolutley not intended, and I've reinserted them where I thought the post occured. My bad. thank you for considering what I said. If you need help, ask. :) - Arcayne (cast a spell) 01:59, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
