Sykes Camp is located 10 miles from the Big Sur Station trailhead along the Pine Ridge Trail. Campsites are spread along both sides of the Big Sur River, both upstream and downstream from where the trail intersects the river. There is a toilet downstream of this intersection as well.
Sykes Hot Springs is about a quarter mile downstream from where the trail intersects the river, on the left bank.
