Sydenham was a former New Zealand Parliamentary electorate, from 1946 to 1996.

This suburban electorate is in the southern suburbs of Christchurch.

The electorate existed from 1881 to 1890 and then from the 1946 election to the 1996 election, the first MMP election. It was replaced by the Wigram electorate. Sydenham was always held by Labour.
