Hi--you seem to be a newbie to Wikipedia and don't quite understand our mission yet, but that's perfectly OK. I'm writing to you to educate you a little bit so you can eventually become a productive member of the community. Regarding the discussion on the "53rd and 6th Halaal Platter" you wrote: "Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It cannot be a guide to food outlets, no matter how good they may be." This reveals that you don't yet seem to understand what it is we do here. Wikipedia can and in fact should contain articles on foot outlets, when such outlets are notable. The nature of your criticism should have been that said food outlet is not notable--however, even if you had levelled such criticism, you would have been wrong because said outlet is in fact highly notable, as a simple google search will reveal. I would encourage you to review wikipedia's basic policies, and I would especially encourage you to review our policy on civility. If you have any questions, don't hestitate to contact me. Yes, this vandalism should be reported to an administrator, which I am not. Bigoted and repulsive personal insults, as this user left on the user page of user: Ros Power, is not tolerated on wikipedia and must be dealt with Stanley011 00:05, 9 June 2006 (UTC).
