[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Peli.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Peli.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. 145.97.39.143 19:23, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome

Welcome back to Wikipedia. To find out how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:

[edit] Your Sheldon article

The problem is, allowing anyone to edit Wikipedia means that a lot of nonsense articles are created, so the informal "New Pages Patrol" looks at them as they come in and flags for deletion ones that don't seem useful. Your Sheldon article looked like someone playing silly games by copying and renaming an article, as happens all too often. It's best not to put an article into the main encyclopedia until it is ready. There are two ways round this: you can make yourself a user subpage (see WP:UP#How do I create a user subpage?), prepare your article there, and move it into the main encyclopedia when it's ready; or you can put {{underconstruction}} at the top, which will protect it (for a few days only) while you work on it.
