The article says it folded in 1813. Then later it cites voyages until 1821.

Think you got it wrong, the company had a privilege until 1821, but as it ceased to exist in 1813 that privilege was never used. Ulflarsen 10:59, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

The sentence "During its existence from 1731 to 1821 the SOIC launched 132 expeditions.... " is rather misleading then.
