I believe the questionable-notability tag is misplaced here, since this is a big name from the world of Free Software developers. --fredericknoronha 19:40, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Is it admissable to make references to other (less notable) Sven Neumanns on this page? Citation From the original Wiki --Killroy 20:31, 7 October 2007 (UTC) (Sven Neumann)

[edit] The credibility of GNOME and the citation of only the web log and his publisher

The GNOME project has a history of having contests in which the ircbot gets assigned an image of a person. I heard about this in the year 2000 or 2001 for an infobot named krissy. I think that this article should be deleted until there can be a photograph, a source other than the publisher of the authors book and some evidence that the person they present to be 'Sven Neumann' can actually do more than chat on a computer. The two people who I met that answered to the name of Sven and Mitch were wonderful and fun people; I could have done what I saw them do in real life though and I don't know the first thing about writing an application in C (or managing a project). Thank you. -- carol 22:39, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
