Talk:Suzuki Vitara
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I've done some miscellaneous copy-editing on this, mostly involving completing incomplete sentences and the like, but also removing a seemingly redundant reference to the Vitara being sold in Europe (etc.) as the Vitara.
I don't know the status of the Vitara, so I've mostly left the conflicting verb tenses alone ("Vehicle is manufactured. . . ." vs. "Vehicle was available with 4-speed. . . .") in the hopes that someone who knows more can resolve them. Morrand 02:56, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
"In the Japanese home market, it was variously sold also with Mazda and Nissan badges." Is there anywher that supports that statement? Never once, in seven years living in Japan, did I ever see a Vitara (or whatever) wearing a Mazda or Nissan badge. Given the crossover tie ups between GM and Suzuki I doub the statement greatly.
Actually, most of the page is a complete mess of half-ideas and poorly expressed mis-information - all heavily slanted towards the US market perspective as normative. eh, whatever: I know no one cares.
