From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Suzuki Volusia motorcycle (VL800) was manufactured by Suzuki Motor Corporation from the years 2001 - 2004. The Volusia was named for the Florida County where it was unveiled at the 2001 Daytona Bike Week..[1]. In 2005, Suzuki re-branded it to the Suzuki Boulevard C50. While nearly every component remained the same, the Boulevard series offers fuel injection instead of a carburetor. The engine is a liquid cooled 45 degree 803cc v-twin[2]. The transmission is 5 speed, with transfer of power to the rear wheel accomplished via shaft drive. The Volusia is a cruiser style motorcycle and is outfitted from the factory to carry a passenger. There are three sub-models of the C50. The C50C, which has cast aluminum wheels, the C50T, which includes a touring package of a windshield, passenger backrest, and saddlebags, and the C50SE Limited Edition, which includes studded seats as well as either a flowing or tribal flame paint job, depending on the model year.
