Suscon, Pennsylvania is also a town full of legend and lore. It has been said that underneath the old Susquehanna Connecting Railroad bridge that crosses Suscon road, lives the ghost of a girl who died on her prom night. The people of the area call her the Suscon Screamer. There are other legends which describe the Screamer as some sort of Sasquatch, over 6' tall and covered in hair. Sometime in the early 1980s, four local boys were said to have seen it come out of the woods and pass by a stop sign.
