Susan Pedersen (born October 16, 1953) is an American swimmer and olympic champion. She competed at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, where she received a gold medal in 4 × 100 m medley relay, and also in 4 × 100 m freestyle relay.[1] She received silver medals in 100 m freestyle and in 200 m individual medley.

She held the world record in 200 m freestyle, long course (2:09.5) from 6 July 1968 to 2 August 1968. She also broke the world records in 4 × 100 m medley relay, and in 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.[2]

Susan Pedersen was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1995.[3][2]
