"to casually scan various television programs or Internet sites." -- It seems to me that it would generally be more accurate to say, "to scan various Web sites" , but the canonical usage was "Surfing the INTERNET" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Wide_Web#Basic_terms -- Writtenonsand 14:57, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
