How do you tune the strings on a sur bahar and what is the thickness of the strings. Can someone post a tuning chart?

Is there difference between the Imdadkhani surbahars and the other gharanas as far as the instruments structure, similar to the Kharaj and Gandhar Pancham styles? From what I can see, the Imdadkhani instruments don't have an upper tumba whereas Kushal Das' instrument definitely had one. Is that universal? Other changes such as jawari?Rasputin98 (talk) 20:31, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
